UX/UI Redesign, Platform for Web App
This smart mirror interface is designed to inform and connect users—similar to smartphones or tablets, but through a natural and ambient medium. The interface blends seamlessly into daily routines like getting ready in the morning, applying makeup, or brushing teeth
How can a mirror—traditionally passive—become a helpful, digital assistant without disrupting the user experience? The goal was to enhance routine moments with meaningful, at-a-glance information.
As a UX/UI Designer, I created the concept, user flows, wireframes, and final interface mockups. I focused on:
Research & Discovery
Analyzed smart displays, mirrors, and minimalist UI. Interviewed users to understand morning routines and key information needs.
Information Architecture
Grouped functions:
Built low- and high-fidelity mockups focusing on clarity, elegance, and minimalism. Chose soft tones and icons to keep the interface calm and distraction-free.
To structure the smart mirror interface, I first created a series of low-fidelity wireframes. These early sketches helped explore layout ideas and test core user flows before moving into high-fidelity design.
Each wireframe focuses on a specific use case, balancing visual clarity with minimal interaction, since the mirror is designed to provide ambient, glanceable information.
The smart mirror prototype blends technology and everyday routine. It showcases how UX/UI design can extend beyond screens—and into reflective surfaces.
